TEFLIN Central Java Chapter, in collaboration with Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) and the Regional English Language Office (RELO), U.S. Embassy Jakarta, is pleased to announce the TEFLIN–UNNES–RELO Workshop 2026 entitled “Strategies for Deep Learning in the English Classroom.” This offline workshop is designed to support English teachers in strengthening instructional practices that promote deeper learning and meaningful student engagement.
The workshop will be facilitated by Magdalena Rojas Lynch, English Language Fellow from the Regional English Language Office, U.S. Embassy Jakarta. Drawing on her professional experience, the session will focus on practical strategies that English teachers can apply to foster critical thinking, active learning, and sustained understanding in classroom contexts.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, 14 February 2026, at the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS), UNNES, and will be conducted fully offline. Participation is limited to selected applicants who meet the eligibility criteria, including English teachers in Central Java, active MGMP members, and TEFLIN members. Only selected participants will be invited to attend the workshop.
Registration is open until 31 January 2026. Selected participants will be notified via WhatsApp on 4 February 2026. The workshop provides snacks and an official certificate for participants.
