TEFLIN East Java Chapter in collaboration with Universitas Brawijaya and ELTIS Surabaya, supported by the British Council, organized a Webinar series on Digital Multimodal Literacies, consisting of Two-day Online Training, Five Online Mentoring sessions, Three Offline Mentoring Sessions and DIMMA (Digital Multimodal Materials Awards) starting from June 2023 up to 11 November 2023.
The timeline execution of this program is as follows: 1) registration and submission (26 August – 23 September 2023), adjudication review (24 September – 29 October 2023), winner announcement and digital exhibition (11 November 2023). This program involved 12 participants who were instructed to submit their lesson plan, instructional material, and instructional video. The nomination of this award is for the best instructional material and the best instructional video. The criteria for instructional material are Originality, practicality, media variation, interactivity, effectiveness, aesthetics and design. Whereas the instructional video’s criteria are attitudes to using technology, IT fluency, planning and instructional design, and teaching interaction using technology.
