Dear Friends of the HKBU Language Centre,
Warm greetings from the Language Centre of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). We cordially invite you to the International Conference on Language Teaching and Learning organized by the Language Centre of Hong Kong Baptist University. The theme of the conference is Engagement in the Digital Age and it will take place on 17-18 June 2024. The conference aims to provide a platform for meaningful discourse on the topic of engagement in language teaching and learning in diverse linguistic settings, bringing together practitioners, researchers, teacher trainers, technology specialists and policymakers to explore strategies for engagement and shedding light on its significance in facilitating higher education language learning.

How to submit an abstract?
The conference welcomes submissions from teachers across language disciplines, including English, Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and foreign languages (e.g. French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean).
Deadline for submission: 15 March 2024 (Friday)
Notification of acceptance: Within 4 weeks
Registration fee:
Early bird (by 20 April): HKD 1,700
Regular (by 10 May): HKD 2,200
Student presenter: HKD 500
