At the 2022 joint conference between AsiaTEFL, TEFLIN and Universitas Negeri Malang, Prof. Utami Widiati was invited to present a speech as a keynote speaker. The conference was done in a hybrid manner (that is, attendees could join the event on the spot at Universitas Negeri Malang or online via Zoom Cloud Meeting) and was held as a three-day event running from 5 to 7 August 2022 under the theme “Hindsight, Insight, and Foresight in ELT in Multilingual Asia”. In accodance with this, Prof. Utami Widiati gave a speech on “Foreseeing English Language Teaching and Teacher Professional Development in the Next Normal: Insights from the Covid-19 Pandemic”. Her session took place on the second day of the conference, specifically in Plenary Speech 3.
