The 64th TEFLIN International conference was hosted by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. It was a joint conference of the 15th AsiaTEFL. The conference was held on July 13, 14, 15, 2017. The conference invited a keynote speaker from The Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education: Prof. H. Mohammad Nasir, Ph.D. and several plenary speakers: Anita Lie (Graduate School of Widya Mandala Catholic University, Surabaya), Anthony J. Liddicoat (University of Warwick), Diane Tedick (University of Minnesota), HU Guangwei (English Language and Literature Academic Group), Herbert Puchta (University in Graz, Austria), Paul Nation (Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand), Dr Roslyn Appleby (University Technology of Sydney), Gu Yueguo (Lancaster University), Hanan Khalifa (Head of Research and International Education), Deborah Healey (editor of TESOL Technology Standards: Description, Implementation, and Integration and of TESOL Technology Standards: Framework Document), Nicky Solomon, Pupung Purnawarman (Indonesia Education University), Mohd Shukri Nordin (International Islamic University Malaysia), Hsin-chou Huang (National Taiwan Ocean University), Xuesong (ANDY) Gao (University of Hong Kong), Paolo Nino Valdez (De la Sale University, Manila, Philippines), Professor Harunur Rashid Khan (Southeast University, Dhaka, Bangladesh), William Little (RELO), Santi B. The conference takes on the theme of “ELT in Asia in the Digital Era: Global Citizenship and Identity” with the following subthemes:
